Statement of Faith

We believe in the one and only eternally triune God, the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit, who is the creator of the heavens and earth.

We believe in Jesus as the son of God, the Savior of the world, who humbled himself and took on the form of a human and died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, and He is alive and will return to judge the mankind. Through grace and by faith in Jesus Christ alone we are justified, sanctified by the Holy Spirit, and united together as one body of Christ.

We believe the Bible is inspired word of God suitable for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness

VISION STATEMENT

1 John 4:12 “No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”

To see a vibrant, diverse, and transformative Presbyterian Thai community in Bay area in the Gospel, actively engaged in discipleship and service, and impacting society with the love and justice of Jesus Christ.

MISSION STATEMENT

To glorify God by faithfully proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, fostering a community of faith, and serving the needs of Thai community in Bay area through acts of love and justice, guided by the Word of God and the Spirit of Christ.

ประวัติคริสตจักร

คริสตจักร First Thai Presbyterian Church of San Jose
ได้ก่อตั้งขึ้น เมื่อวันที่ 19 กันยายน ค.ศ.1999

โดยมี ศจ. ดร.ประจวบ เดชะวรรณ เป็นผู้รวบรวมพี่น้องคนไทยใน Bay Area ในเมือง San Jose

ศิษยภิบาล

ผมมีความเชื่อมั่นว่า คริสตจักร First Thai Presbyterian Church of San Jose จะเป็นคริสตจักรที่เกิดผลและเป็นคริสตจักรที่มีสง่าราศีของพระองค์ แม้ว่าจะเป็นคริสตจักรเล็ก แต่ความเล็กนี้ เต็มไปด้วยคุณภาพชีวิตฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณที่เกิดผล เมื่อเรามีความเป็นนํ้าหนึ่งใจเดียวกัน "ดั่งพระวจนะของพระเจ้าตรัสว่า “ดูเถิด ซึ่งพี่น้องอาศัยอยู่ด้วยกันเป็นน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกัน ก็เป็นการดี และน่าชื่นใจมากสักเท่าใด เหมือนน้ำมันประเสริฐอยู่บนศีรษะไหลอาบลงมาบนหนวดเครา บนหนวดเคราของอาโรน ไหลอาบลงมาบนคอเสื้อของท่าน เหมือนน้ำค้างของภูเขาเฮอร์โมน ซึ่งตกลงบนเทือกเขาศิโยน เพราะว่าพระเจ้าทรงบังคับบัญชาพระพรที่นั่น คือชีวิตจำเริญเป็นนิตย์” สดุดี 133
